Resources for housing, employment, detox programs, aftercare programs, and solutions to family issues
Employment assistance and opportunities for people who struggle to find work due to past criminal and/or addiction history
Assistance for broken families who must navigate the department of social services system
Assistance with housing program applications
Resources of transport to detox programs, care packages, and assistance with the next phase of recovery via aftercare programs
Resources for emergency services and hotlines
Bus passes (temporarily limited), transportation, toiletries, as well as food and clothing vouchers
Adult mentoring
Empowerment group for women
Youth mentoring with special focus on those involved or affected by gang-related activities
Free computer training, free haircuts (barber/hairstyling training), carpentry training, and photography training

A Noteworthy Accomplishment

The Beyond the Wall project was able to get Minister Ruiz to speak at Shirley Medium Prison—definitely a big deal for those behind bars. This goes to show that great things can happen behind prison walls in Massachusetts.
